AMAZON CREATOR CONNECTIONS Standard Operating Procedures for Campaign Setup, Creator Communication, Fulfillment, and Tracking.
This guide walks through the full process for running a Creator Connections program on Amazon: launching a campaign, responding to creator inquiries, fulfilling sample requests, and tracking participation and sales. It reflects Amazon's current program structure as of August 2026. Amazon updates this interface periodically, so revisit this page from time to time to confirm it's still accurate.
WHAT CHANGED RECENTLY
-
The menu path now runs Advertising, then Brand Content, then Creator Connections.
-
Program minimums: 10% minimum commission, $5,000 minimum campaign budget, 30 day minimum campaign duration (365 day maximum).
-
Most campaign details lock 24 hours after a campaign goes live, so review carefully before clicking Create Campaign.
BEFORE YOU START: ELIGIBILITY
Confirm all of these before building a campaign:
-
An active Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central account.
-
Enrollment in Amazon Brand Registry.
-
A billing account based in the United States, China, or Hong Kong. Eligibility is tied to account location, not marketplace.
-
User permissions that include access to Creator Connections. An account administrator can check this under Settings, User Permissions.
-
If Creator Connections does not appear under Advertising after confirming the above, treat access as unresolved rather than delayed. Newly eligible advertisers may need several days before the feature appears, but a missing menu item after that window usually means a permissions or enrollment gap.
SOP 1: HOW TO CREATE A CAMPAIGN
Step 1: Log in and navigate to Creator Connections
-
Go to Amazon Seller Central and log in with your credentials.
-
From the main menu, select Advertising.
-
Select Brand Content, then select Creator Connections. [Screenshot: Advertising dropdown menu with Brand Content and Creator Connections highlighted.]
Step 2: Start a new campaign
-
Select the brand you want to run the campaign under.

[Screenshot: Creator Connections landing page showing the brand selector with View Requests and Create Campaign buttons.] [Screenshot: Campaigns list view showing existing campaign names, status, budget, spend, and orders.]
Step 3: Define campaign details
-
Campaign name: a clear, descriptive name creators will recognize, for example "Beef Liver Supplement Launch, January 2026." Keep it under 80 characters.
-
Message to the creator: roughly 3,000 characters to introduce your brand, describe the product, and outline key talking points.
-
Start and end dates: campaigns must run a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 365 days.
-
Budget: the maximum amount you are willing to pay creators. The current minimum is $5,000.
-
Commission rate: the minimum is 10%. A higher rate typically increases creator interest.
What you can include in the creator message: an introduction to your brand, why you want to work with the creator, an overview of your products, and any active promotions. What you cannot include: links to external resources or media kits, or personal information such as your email or phone number. [Screenshot: Basic Information form showing the campaign name field, message to the creator field, additional disclosure section, start and end date pickers, and the budget and commission rate fields.]
Step 4: Select products
-
Choose the products you want to feature in the campaign.
-
Add the ASINs for each product, either by searching, entering a list, or uploading a file.
-
Confirm a minimum of one product is added before proceeding. [Screenshot: Products panel showing the search field on the left and the selected product list on the right.]
Step 5: Launch and confirm
-
Review every field. Once the campaign goes live, most details lock after the first 24 hours.
-
Click Create Campaign to publish it to eligible creators.
-
Allow up to 24 hours for the campaign to go fully live. [Screenshot: Final review screen with the Create Campaign button highlighted before submission.]
Post launch activities
-
Monitor performance regularly through the Campaign Dashboard.
-
Review engagement, sales, and ROI at the product and creator level.
-
Adjust future campaigns based on what the data shows, since most fields are locked once a campaign is live.
-
Keep documentation of each campaign for future reference and reporting.
